A Trip to a Desert Town!
Martin and I went off to Borrego Springs. Since it's a little too late in the desert season to camp... we stayed at a hotel... which I won't name because I don't want to give them any free advertising. Why? Because, it's not so nice. Terrible beds. Needs repair. I will say this. They have a nice little pool, the grounds are great, and it holds a lot of potential. If I had the dough and/or the inclination to live in Borrego Springs, I'd buy it and fix it up. It'd be great! Post modern fun!
Here's some shots and the title is a link to more on the flickr site... which I'm adding to slowly!

Cinco de Mayo
Saturday, Cinco de Mayo, or 5th of May for you English only people... I went downtown and took a look at the gallery and the show all fully hung! Looks fantastic! Martha and Richard of MJ Higgins did a great job of hanging the show. Kelly and I actually filled the whole front room! Yippee!
Later I took a walk to Olvera Street where Cinco de Mayo festivities were in progress! Here's a dear little boy who looked so miserable playing his accordian. He was adorable!
