An Afternoon in Hollywood

Went for a Sunday afternoon jaunt to Hollywood. Haven't been there in awhile. I met up with a fellow flickr-ite, David Schulman - i.e. iZENstein. We had a great time. Hollyweird at it's best! I'd like to do some more shooting there in the future. Crazy place!

A Trip to a Desert Town!

Martin and I went off to Borrego Springs. Since it's a little too late in the desert season to camp... we stayed at a hotel... which I won't name because I don't want to give them any free advertising. Why? Because, it's not so nice. Terrible beds. Needs repair. I will say this. They have a nice little pool, the grounds are great, and it holds a lot of potential. If I had the dough and/or the inclination to live in Borrego Springs, I'd buy it and fix it up. It'd be great! Post modern fun!

Here's some shots and the title is a link to more on the flickr site... which I'm adding to slowly!

New Scanner + 127 Film Negs + Brownie

Of course the Brownie is an old camera... not a delightful chocolate treat! Here's a fancy shmancy double exposure!

Can't wait to mess with the rest of the out of date color 127 film that I've got left!

Cinco de Mayo

Saturday, Cinco de Mayo, or 5th of May for you English only people... I went downtown and took a look at the gallery and the show all fully hung! Looks fantastic! Martha and Richard of MJ Higgins did a great job of hanging the show. Kelly and I actually filled the whole front room! Yippee!

Later I took a walk to Olvera Street where Cinco de Mayo festivities were in progress! Here's a dear little boy who looked so miserable playing his accordian. He was adorable!
